  • You should use the following cables :

    PC-switch
    		--> straight through
    PC-PC --> cross-over
    PC-hub --> straight through
    PC-router --> cross-over (ethernet port) or rollover (console port)
    router-router --> cross-over
    hub-hub --> cross-over
    hub-switch --> straight through
    router-switch --> straight through
    switch-switch --> cross-over
